Study
abroad and exchange students can apply online for admission to Leiden University.
If
applicable, please make sure that you have been nominated by your home
university for an exchange or study abroad period in Leiden. Our online
application contains a nomination form that your home coordinator needs to fill
in and sign.
Programmevs
course application
Please note that as a study abroad or exchange student you apply for
individual courses, and in this way create your own programme. This means that
your academic background needs to be assessed for each specific course you wish
to register for. Therefore, you will always need to apply for and be admitted
to a particular course.
Your International Programmes Officer and Faculty Coordinator(s) will tell you
more about this as they process your application. You can also talk to
them if you have any questions about applying for courses. Once you arrive, you
will receive information about how to register for the courses you have been admitted to.
