Students preparing to study abroad often ask about programs that
fit with their major. While this is a relevant aspect of the planning process,
most Lesley students enroll in free elective and general education courses
abroad, rather than courses to fulfill major requirements. At the same time, it
is entirely possible to take major requirements. Some students even completeinternships during their
semester abroad. As advised in the quote box below, it's important to develop a
plan with your academic adviser to determine which semester and what type of
coursework abroad you might pursue. The Study Abroad Office will then work with
you find a program that fits your interests. Even though you might end up
taking general education and free electives while abroad, the information on
the links below is organized by major, to give you an idea of specific programs
that are strong in your major as well as destinations that students from your
major have chosen in recent years.
